Paddestoelen App

The app was developed for Casa Foresta, a company specializing in mushroom literature and workshops.

Architecture and functionality

The app is a native Android app. While I first started out building it with jQuery mobile, I decided to go native after experiencing that the performance and rendering speed were not up to my expectations, especially on older phones. The final app is native, loading its data from JSON and pre-rendered HTML pages, the content of which can be managed in a simple Zotonic site.
